Spotlight Carousel
The Spotlight Carousel is a visual way to highlight items such as people, programs, or posts. It displays one slide at a time that rotates automatically or manually. Each slide has a heading, quote, blurb, optional links, and an image.
Block settings:
- Select carousel type
- Only one type is available at this time, Blurb and image, so no action is necessary.
- Add item
- Click on Add Item to add your first carousel slide.
- Spotlight Heading
- The heading of the slide.
- Spotlight Quote
- This text that goes between the heading and blurb of the yellow lines.
- Spotlight Blurb
- A summary of the item that you want to highlight.
- URL
- This is a an optional link that you can set to direct a user to a page or post. It will appear styled as a button.
- Secondary URL
- This is a an additional optional link that you can set to direct a user to a page or post. It will appear styled as a button.
- Spotlight Image
- This is the image that will appear in the right side of the slide. You should choose a square image in the 1:1 ratio for this to display correctly. Also, make sure your image is large enough so that it will not appear pixelated.
- Add Item
- This button adds another slide.
